Our properties have plenty of beaches, bars, shops and restaurants within strolling distance, but you'll also want to explore the richness of the surrounding area.
The popular resort of Guardamar is only 5 minutes' drive away, through a natural setting of pine, dune, woodland, sand and wide, easily accessible beaches. Don't miss the old town on the hill with its dramatic castle, and the sports-oriented marina. To the south, you can visit the local 18-hole (par 71) golf course, Avda Naciones.
Leisure and Theme Parks nearby include Rio Safari Park at the 4km mark on the Elche-Santa Pola road and Aquapark (hugely popular with children) at the 35 km mark on the Crevillente road.
The whole area is renowned for it's white sand beaches, excellent cuisine and busy markets. Follow the N-332 to reach the enormous salt-pans of La Mata-Torrevieja and the tourist resort of Torrevieja whose life revolves around sea and salt. Torrevieja, literally "Ancient Tower", is a delightful town close to Villamartin & Pueblo Latino, with palm lined promenades, marina, busy indoor markets, good restaurants and lively nightlife.
Further to the south you come upon the Mar Menor, a shallow lagoon 170 Square kilometres in size with warm waters, gentle winds, and a modern infrastructure making it one of the best places in Europe to learn and perfect all kinds of water sports.
The major centres of Alicante, with wonderful views from the historic castle of Santa Barbara, and ancient Murcia, with its twisting narrow streets and famous cathedral, are easily reached from your apartment, as is Elche, with it's ancient palm groves first cultivated by the Carthaginians.
