The development has, within walking distance of the apartments, a number of restaurants serving a variety of different tastes from Italian and Chinese through "fish and chips" to traditional Spanish.
Bars, again within walking distance, are plentiful whether you wish to sit quietly and "watch the world pass by" one afternoon or drink into the night, and vivid clubs are an inexpensive taxi-ride away.
A firm favourite with children is the Aquapark at Torrevija, providing lots of fun in the summer months.
Massage and beauty treatments are available either on the complex or locally down at the Laguna.
Guardamar, just a few minutes away, offers a wide range of activities. Watersports, including Jet-skiing, sailing, windsurfing, scuba-diving are available, and boating and canoeing take place on a stretch of the river Segura and at the mouth of the river where it flows into the Mediterranean sea by the Marina (500 moorings). The town itself has a variety of parks with lakes and waterfalls, and has regular markets, including a "Night Market" in high season. It is full of bars and restaurants offering a choice of Greek, Spanish, Chinese, Indian, Hungarian, Italian and even English cuisine, plus the popular Tapas bars. Guardamar has two major Sports Centres with facilities including swimming pools, football pitches, basketball and tennis courts.
The region has extensive riding facilities, and also lends itself to walking and cycling (ask about cycle and mountain-bike hire) in varied and beautiful scenery.
There are nightclubs in Guardamar, more in Torrevieja and of course a huge choice in Alicante.
